My name is Ernie Laurence, Jr. I have been a member of the church of Christ since the spring of 1986 when my father immersed me in water into Christ where His blood washed me of my sins. Since then the road has been that of the typical human. I've had times when I was weak and time when I was strong. I was even a liberal for about five minutes. Hated every nanosecond. Was a conservative for a bit longer, but that grated and eventually I decided that listening to uninspired men was just as wrong.
At this point in my life I am happy, saved, and I believe faithful to the Lord. My beautiful wife and I have been married since August 2005. In October of 2009 I had twins, a boy and a girl. In January of 2014 I had another little girl. Even though I do little besides help feed, change diapers, and play with my kids (notice sleep isn't in there anywhere), they are a complete joy and a blessing from God that I thank Him for every time I pray.
In addition to Bible stuff here are some things about me you might find interesting:
I have a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS). I designed video games professionally for a few years as I finished college (and still do for fun now). I now teach high school Physics and whatever else they need me to teach (Chemistry, Math, Game Design, etc.). I am a published novelist who has written quite a few novels and at the urging of my wife (after she found out how many) am working to publish them.
